A while ago I attended the very first of its kind in San Antonio super terrific 4X5 PHOTO FEST at The Blue Star Art Complex!
 I made this little commercial about it too. Next year put it on your calendar to attend because Josh Huskin, Scott Ball and Shannon Gowen are doing it again.

Once a week I give a mega shout out to a company, place, or person that I really love. Quite Possibly the best wedding film I've ever made.

I know I think this every single time I finish a wedding. But this last wedding film at The Denman Estate which is part of University of the Incarnate Word was spectacular. I'm not talking about the sheer size and scope of the wedding. I'm talking about the content of the couples words for each other. It is the first time I've seen this amount of love and devotion shared so openly with the entire wedding party. Its also the first time I've seen such amazing toasts from friends and family. For that reason I chose the wedding speeches to be the main focus of the short film.  I hope I did their words justice. Thank you Rebecca for choosing Stella Haus Films to document this momentous day. I also want to thank +Soundstripe  and +Envato Studio for the incredible music selection. You make the music choices so much easier.

A few weeks ago I had the privilege of documenting the love story and wedding of Marcela and Maurice. The love between these two was palpable, I was so honored to be asked to document it. Stella Haus Films now has T-SHIRTS!!

Hi all!!
So I decided to make a t-shirt design I'd really want to wear for when I have shoots.
I employed my Father-in-Law Dow Patterson a cartoonist, and architecht to help me. I had a rough idea of the design. I wanted to be on a horse with my puppy Ruby, then I thought, wait a minute and one of my chickens too. Oh, and a film camera (even though I shoot on digital, a film camera comes across more as video than photography). So Dow and I sat down,  he had already sketched it out by hand.  I then proceeded to map it out in photoshop. Two hours later we had this amazing design that I love wearing!! Then a couple friends asked for one, then I decided to just set up a page to keep it manageable.  http://stellahaus.bigcartel.com
